Our Story

Welcome to Foxflow, Inc.! We are a dedicated group of leaders making a sustainable difference in our community. Our journey began through the Self-Mastery Trilogy courses led by Martha Borst and Barbara Fagan, culminating in a community "Make a Difference" project.

Our inspiration, Shelley Gilbert, a local Healdsburg resident living with Parkinson's, leads a donation-based yoga class with all proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF). Shelley's strength and dedication inspired our Leadership group to rally around her cause. We initially aimed to raise $12,000 for Parkinson’s research and host an awareness event. Turns out, with the enthusiastic support from our community and sponsors, including the generous Bacchus Landing, we blew right past our goals, hosting more than 200 attendees and raising over $50,000 for MJFF. Shelley led a yoga session for more than 100 participants, and everyone enjoyed live music, dancing, food, and wine.

One year later, August 24th, 2024, we were back at Bacchus Landing with a goal to meet or exceed $100,000, with all net proceeds going to MJFF for Parkinson’s research. When all was tallied, we were able to send more than $80,000 to MJFF! Our next fundraiser is scheduled for August 9, 2025 at Bacchus Landing and will include a live band, yoga session, food, wine, and raffle. Don't miss it!

Though our Leadership course has ended, Foxflow’s mission is just beginning. As a new nonprofit and 501(c)(3) charity, we are excited to continue growing and making a lasting impact in our community.
